What is special about Policy Governance®?

Policy Governance is a particular framework for defining the authority, control and accountability of an organization (read more about Policy Governance). It is one form, of several different forms, of governance that in our experience does the most effective system for governing. This includes achieving group authority, creating clarity of authority between the board and the CEO, and ensuring accountability of the board to the owners and the CEO to the board.
